Your suggestion about the warping of space such that any wave path would be altered reaches my limits too, but is a reasonable explanation. I’m still trying to understand gravity…lol
Gravityas I know it feels good, but haven’t seen a good explanation yet. I think it’s related to that funny “glue” that holds stuff together.

@JRBeaman I’m now stepping out of my element, but if one assumes as some say that gravity distorts the space itself then even a massless wave is affected directly because it travels through space, following its curves. Otherwise no mass would mean no interaction by gravity, using common sense (a dangerous instrument in advanced physics sometimes

If each crystal cell drops a small voltage and there are many crystals, the drop in each may not be that big of a problem. I don’t think his crystal cluster is either germanium or silicon, but he has a great concept here, I think.

The photon was considered to be both a particle and a wave.
The newer concept that a photon has no mass, when gravity effects it’s path, (Einstein), has me worried, as my understanding of the physics say the photon cannot be only a wave, as I don’t think a pure wave, in a vacuum, would be deflected by gravity. Tough to measure, methinks.
@JRBeaman “It is not a magnetically induced current flow device.” On that I agree, it is a quantistic interaction of the electron picking up the whole photon energy, the photon itself, in an instant (picoseconds scale).Nothing to do with common antennas where currents are induced. I didn’t want to mix up these two concept, just make clear that light photons are high frequency packets of EM waves, and radio photons exist as well.

You idiot… If everyone had electric cars we wouldnt be able to handle that much electricity to be used. All it takes for a major blackout is too many air conditioners on a hot day in new york. To make up for this electricity deficity youd have to find more energy sources (ie buring coal, oil, etc) because climate friendly resources just dont cut it. Either way we’re dependent on oil

@marcheseDS The device is “Photo Voltaic”, not “Electro Magnetic”.
It takes a photon entering the atom to raise the valence level of the electrons, which increases the voltage on the cells. It is not a magnetically induced current flow device. Maybe you should read up on the difference. Your definition is too broad, such that you could say you and I are electromagnetic devices as well.
@JRBeaman 400THz was just somewhere around the lowest visible light frequency, just to say that is already so high that conventional electronics would fail if used in an attempt to convert light in electricity as you could do easily with radiowaves. But provided the right technology it would be an efficient solar panel: search for “ir-radiation-solar-panel-uses-tiny-antennas” to see what I’m referrin to. (no idea if it will actually work)

“Solar” means sun. As in sun light.
A solar panel takes sun LIGHT to generate electricity.
Solar panels use the photon’s unique characteristics to produce electrical energy by use of the solar panel, which is not usually considered an electromagnetic device, but a solar (photon) device. The photon is also both a wave and a particle, kind of a unique elementary element in it’s own right. Light comes in many frequencies, why specify 400THz?.

@JRBeaman I don’t have a 400THz generator to drive the electromagnet correctly for this test, do you?
I know the light is not exactly a radiowave but still a photon is a quantum of electromagnetic energy with an electric and a magnetic components and the problem in using an antenna to catch light is the lenght has to be so short (and also the mass of electron is quite large to use it as the charge carrier accelerated by the light wave)
Finally some intelligent videos on youtube instead of all this free energy and anti-gravity and magnetic motor crap that is just junk to attract ignorant investors. I hope this guy finds some backing, because he knows what he is talking about, and that’s rare here. WTG Tom.

It took the lithium battery to give the power to weight ratio, and safety factors that lead acid did not provide. Cost is comming down so that will help as well as better control electronics for things like regen braking that was way too expensive before. Your statement shows a defeatist attitude, and lack of understanding of the bigger picture because of it.
